A fun-filled, family friendly selection of british short films.
This entertaining children’s film programme features fun characters with some cheeky twists and turns. Featuring animated, live action and Super 8 films. Followed by a free family activity session inspired by the screening. Activities will include:
Mini Q&A with the filmmakers
Film inspired crafting.
Learning about making films
Design-a-poster competition.
This screening also includes a special introduction by the festival director, and an award presentation by Darren Hart (CBeebies Playtime Towers, Justin’s House)
Activities are designed to appeal to 5-11 year olds, but all ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Festival activities are only available to ticket holders.

Family activity session
Our family activity session is free for all ticket holders and will take place in the designated workshop area at Castle Cinema. Activities will begin shortly after the screening ends, and will remain open for up to 45mins. So there’s time for a quick loo break and nappy change if needed. Festival staff will help direct you and your children to the right place.
Activities are designed to appeal to ages 5-11, however all children 3+ are welcome to ‘have a go’ if supported by their adult. Activities will include:
